What you need to bring:
A full day on the river is an amazing way to experience all that a Colorado river has to offer! Throughout the course of a Colorado day, weather can and mostly likely will change due to the beautiful mountains in Colorado. With that in mind, make sure to bring a rain jacket and multiple layers to take on and off as the day warms or cools. Here is a list of items that are helpful:
- Hats, polarized sunglasses (helps to spot fish), dull colored jackets, long sleeves, buffs, beanies, synthetic or wool clothing, midcalf socks, sunscreen and chapstick.
- If you would like to use your own gear, you are welcome to bring it.
- If you have questions, please feel free to give us a call anytime here at 303-918-4999
Location:
- Whether you are arriving in Colorado from out of state or you live here, we will work with you to get you on the best river possible. Our guides know the Colorado rivers well! We will give you predetermined locations where you will meet your guide. Once your trip is booked, one of our guides will reach out to you in advance.
Goals:
- At Fly Fish Colorado, we want to maximize your time on the river so if you are interested in a specific style of fishing, want to understand river hydraulics and fish behavior, enjoy picking up rocks and want to study the unique entomology of the river, or want to see how temperature affects trout, please let us know and we will cater any trip to your desires.
- We want to hear from you and offer the best experience possible. Give us a call or send us an email so we can accomodate your desires for your exceptional day on a Colorado river!
